Italian EV manufacturer VLF has introduced an updated version of its flagship Tennis electric scooter in India. The new model now offers an additional 20 km of range on a single charge while maintaining the ex-showroom price of Rs 1.29 lakh. VLF has also expanded the color choices to include Slate Blue and Ebony Black alongside the existing Snowflake White and Fire Fury Dark Red options. The design features remain angular with a rectangular LED headlamp, 12-inch alloys, and disc brakes on both wheels equipped with a Combined Braking System.
VLF Tennis E-Scooter: Battery, Range, and Features
The upgraded scooter now boasts a new aluminum-shell LMFP battery that extends the claimed range from 130 km to 150 km. Despite the increase in range, a full recharge still takes approximately three hours using the provided 720 W portable charger. The scooter is powered by a hub motor that delivers a peak power of 2.57 kW and an impressive 157 Nm of torque. Riders can choose between Eco, Normal, and Sport modes to balance performance with battery life. Inside, the scooter features an LMFP battery that enhances heat management, an 18-liter under-seat storage, keyless start, a USB charging port, and a 5-inch TFT display that supports smartphone connectivity. Additional tech features include three riding modes, turn-by-turn navigation, and full LED lighting.
VLF Tennis E-Scooter: Deliveries
Deliveries of the upgraded VLF Tennis E-Scooter are set to commence on November 25 in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune. VLF has also announced that its petrol-powered Mobster 180 and 125 scooters will be launched later in the year.
